Even if... ch. 2

Goku finaly got to the house where they all (Goku, Gohan, Pan, Videl and Goten) lived. Gohan was in the back yard, playing with 7 year old Pan. Goten was talking to Videl about not understanding girls. Videl was laughing here and then, but when she saw that Goten was serious, she got serious too. Gohan spotted the pissed Goku aproaching them.

''Dad! Hey, dad! We're here!'' yelled Gohan, but Goku didn't reply, nor look at him. Gohan was now a little worried; what got into Goku? ''Hey Videl! Come over here for a second!'' Gohan called Videl. She ran over to him and Pan.

''What is it, honey?'' asked Videl.

''My father isn't normal. He didn't even reply when I called him, something is wrong. Would you please try to go look what's up? You can do it by offering him something. Please, hon?'' said Gohan and smiled politely.

Videl giggled and nodded. She went in the house to find Goku. She found him laying on the couch and staring into the ceeling. Videl just went right in the kitchen, to get come water to offer Goku. When she filled the glass with water, she went back to the living room. But Goku wasn't there.

''Goku? Goku?'' Videl called him.

''What is it?'' Goku replyed angrily. Videl bounced out of surprise; Goku was standing upside down on his hands.

''Goku! What are you doing? Is it your training time already?'' asked Videl politely. Goku didn't reply. ''Goku, come on, what is it? I know something isn't right, you've been acting very strange litely...'' she said, but Goku raised his finger and pointed in her. He started to create a ball of energy out of his finger. Videl got scared, she dropped the glass of water and it broke. Gohan heard that glass-breaking sound and went with Pan inside. Goten stayed outide, climbing on the highest tree in the yard, without flying.

''Videl, honey?'' asked Gohan when he got in the house. ''Mama?'' called Pan.

''Goku, don't do that!'' Videl was yelling in the living room.

''VIDEL!'' yelled Gohan and left Pan in the hall, then ran in the living room, as soon as possible. When he got in, Videl was still standing still, but Goku on the other hand was holding a handful of energy, looking at it.

''Dad! What are you doing?'' yelled Gohan. Goku twitched. He put his hand down and made the energy ball dissapear.

''Relax, I was not going to hurt Videl. I was making that for me... Gohan I have no idea what I would do without you guys... My life is just going down the hill since your mother left.'' said Goku sadly.

''Dad,'' said Gohan, coming closer to his father, ''you're right, things aren't as shiny as they were before, but hey, we will get through this, no need for you to do anything stupid! Look at us, we are haning in there! Even Goten is alright! Come on dad, tell me you won't do anything stupid... Alright?'' said Gohan and smiled.  Goku nodded.



''Hey, I'm home...'' said Bulma sadly, when she walked through the door of their home. Bulla was sitting on the couch, reading some magazine, while Trunks was eating.

''Hi mom! What tookf youf so longf?'' said Trunks, with his mouth full. Bulma smiled.

''I was with Goku in the park for a while, nothing much. Where is your father?'' asked Bulma.

''He is in the bedroom, I think.'' said Bulla, still staring in the magazina. Bulma went to their bedroom. The door were opened. She found Vegeta laying on the bed with his hair wet and only a towel around his waist.

''Hey there. I am home.'' sadi Bulma and sat on the bed. Vegeta was silent. Bulma sighed. ''Vegeta... I-I have something to tell you.'' said Bulma. Vegeta was still silent. ''I am in love with someone else, Vegeta, I can't go on like this with you...'' said Bulma bravely. Vegeta froze; did she just say that? Did she just say that she is in love with someone else? Vegeta tried to hide his shock and his sorrow for hearing that.

''Who is it?'' he said quietly. Bulma was scared to tell him, but she took courage and took a deep breath.

''Patrick, the one you fought three years ago...'' she said scared. Vegeta was shocked even more; Patrick was his mortal enemy, he would do anything to kill him and now that he took his wife away, he hated him even more. But he swallowed it, pulled out a suitcase and threw it to Bulma.

''Go, now.'' he said cold. Bulma nodded and started packing. When she was fisnished packing, she didn't even say goodbye to Vegeta, she just... Left the room. When Trunks and Bulla saw Bulma with a suitcase any a sad face, they knew what was going on.

''Mom? Mother, where are you going? MOM!'' screamed Bulla, when she saw Bulma wasn't stopping. Trunks jumped off the chair and stopped Bulma from going outside the doors.

''Trunks, please understand...'' she said, but Trunks cut her.

''Understand? How the hell can I understand when I don't even know where you're going? Me and my sister deserve to know where and WHY you are leaving! TELL US!'' screamed Trunks, still not letting her get out. Bulma sighed.

''Fine... Kids, I am leaveing 'cause I don't love your father and I love someone else. Is that good enough? Now MOVE!'' yelled Bulma angrily and pushed Trunks to side. Bulla and Trunks were crushed; is this really happening? Is their mother really leaving? Bulla started crying immediatly, while Trunks fell on his knees in shock, not believing what just happened....
